About Me

After completing formal education with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM ) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, I joined the banking world from campus and worked for my first employer, a leading international bank, for over fifteen years.

During this period I worked with, and led, large multi-cultural teams in a number of locations, both in India and overseas.

Thereafter, for over seven years, I worked for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) outfits in India, between Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida, the last role being Vice President.

More than the first fifteen, the last seven or eight years have driven home the reality of the gap that exists in the world of business between employers' expectations from young leaders and the ability of these yound leaders to fulfil and deliver on these expectations.

Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, I have recently ventured into business, in an effort to bridge this gap.

In this blog my effort will be to highlight the gaps that exist and the impact of these gaps.

I also write another blog on corporate situations that is a satire on how people behave at work when they think nobody is noticing. It can be accessed on http://darkofficehumour.wordpress.com/.
